what a life, what a day, Parklife mania must I say! The sun was out and so was all the fake spray tans & wierd costumes. The day had a nice edge with many people having the usual fun dancing to the likes Lady Sovereign, The Cool Kids & La Roux.We snapped a few great outfits but must we say it was hard to find the stylish boys amongst the 21,000 crowd. More effort boys next time please and for the people who got angry when we refused to take a picture of you.., well maybe next time if you dress a little better we may.pics by js
With runway show's always comes the after party and what better place to have the Subfusco after party than Cloudland's newest level. With a capacity of 300 + people, the fashion crowd danced and partied into the night thanks to official partners CLOUDLAND. Many of the photos we could not post as some didn’t want to be remembered in a messy way, but we snuck a few naughty ones in just for you.

EXCLUSIVE SHOTS OF SUBFUSCO'S EDITORIAL IN MX THIS WEEK.
Leading Brisbane designer Subfusco is breaking out of Brisbane’s fashion shackles to launch its Spring/Summer collection, ‘Collective Species’, at a unique runway event on Friday September 18 and includes the launch of its first ever women’s collection.
This year’s event promises to break new ground in Brisbane fashion events, revealing operational chain factory Serafini Chains in Bowen Hills as the location for the launch of ‘Collective Species’.
This year’s event promises to break new ground in Brisbane fashion events, revealing operational chain factory Serafini Chains in Bowen Hills as the location for the launch of ‘Collective Species’.
Subfusco has built a reputation from breaking the mould of tried and tired runway shows, with last year’s ‘Romeo’s Closet’ launch lauded as the underground fashion event of the year with more than 300 of Brisbane’s style set descending on a CBD laneway.
According to head designer Joshua Scacheri, the ‘Collective Species’ collection has a futuristic feel and drew inspiration from a post apocalyptic world that has been riddled with turmoil and destruction, making Serafini Chains a fitting choice.
“We thought that hosting the show in a raw, dirty & mechanical surrounding would tie in with the collections theme, giving our guests a unique experience to anything they’ve seen in Brisbane before,” he said.
“Runway shows are an extension of each designer’s style, so we love using unusual and creative spaces that compliment our collections.
“We’ve drawn inspiration from Milan and Paris Fashion Week’s where all the designers do their shows off site and they come up with some amazing productions. We are trying to push Brisbane fashion events to the next level and we hope that younger designers catch on,” Josh said.
There are more than 26 looks in the collection, which for the first time includes a women’s line.
“In order to take Subfusco to the next level, I felt that it was a natural progression to launch a women’s ready-to-wear collection, and not to mention my girlfriend, mother and sister are constantly asking me to design something for them!
“From concept to creation, we are also proud that our collection is 100 per cent Australian. We have such a strong industry which supports Australian designers and our clients are demanding more and expecting quality from Australian designers, which we are proud to be recognised for,” he said.
This year’s event is proudly supported by Napoleon Makeup, Fabrik Hair, Peroni, Deakin Estate and Cloudland.
With Brisbane’s style set beginning to grow accustomed to the very best in fashion events, the launch event will be topped off with an after party at Cloudland’s exclusive top level - Joshua was responsible for designing the team’s uniforms as Subfusco designer uniforms is another extension of the label.

On Friday STYLEOGRAPHY was a guest at TRIMAPEE'S runway show part of MSFW. The excited fashionista's flocked in 100's to a very creative and directional show. The TRIMAPEE Boys, Peter & Mario should be really proud of themselves and their team as the night was a huge success. We took some snaps of the very dark and cool crowd in between Nelson beers and Redbull's. We decided to do a black and white post as the people of Melbourne love their black threads.
To see Trimapee's Collection, head to their concept store THE MILK SHOP GANG in Fitzroy.
Congratulations boys.

The Libertine (La Matriarca; a.k.a. The Matriarch) is a 1969 film directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile, but The Libertine Parfumerie is an amazing new concept to hit the shores of Australia and it’s owned by some local gentlemen whom know what a good fragrance should smell like. Launching their second store last Wednesday night at New Farm, The Libertine concept is to provide niche elegant & very interesting fragrances for him & her.
The night was full of beautiful things and beautiful people; we also had the privilege to hear some amazing words of wisdom from the king of perfumes Mr Michael Edwards. We have snapped up a few very stylish people from Sigourney Cantelo from Vogue Beauty to the handsome Joel, part owner of Libertine. Styleography love's Libertine Parfumerie.

To celebrate the Italian week this year in style, the organisers hosted a fashion show dedicated to Italian inspiration. We saw heavy weight designers like Elio Moda, with his Italian hand Crafted suiting, Subfusco with their edgy sophisticated style and the amazing fashion forward students of MSIT Tafe. The event was held over 2 days in the Queen St Mall with models from Tamblyns walking the runway.
Styleography had backstage access and runway shots were taken by local Photographer Daniel Sangermani from Red Eclipse.

We had a special invite by one of Brisbanes best menswear designers to preview his latest collection. Designer Joshua Scacheri from the label "Subfusco" shot his latest lookbook last week and we were there to see it all. We can't show you any real images of the collection, but a hand full of little teasers are here only for Styleography followers. The Collection named " Collective Species s/s 2010" was inspired by a world from the future, one that see's everything going back to basics, a collective of similarity, him & her as one. Also this season we see Subfusco's first ladies line, the long awaited collection will have ladies now dressed in head to toe in these amazing designs.
The shoot was photographed by Israel Rivera, one of our best photographers in the country, who's work has been published in magazines all over the world and not too mention national ones like Cream, Oyster & Culture.
Styling was handed to Lucia Arias Martinez a local spanish stylist who knows style from back to front and has worked on many local and interstate jobs. The models Eliza & Konrad really worked well with the clothes, these guys are based with Viviens models.
Subfusco Spring Summer Collection will be released nation wide in September, watch out for his amazing runway show launch also, it should be due around the end of August.

Last week saw another edition of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week A.K.A (RAFW) plus a bonus event which captures the minds and the inspirations of some of these amazing designers called Fashion Palette.
When Fashion events are on people come out to exhibit, they emerge with their best outfits, their in head to toe in designer looks and they come together to show the country that we do have style here in Australia. This year’s RAFW was said to be one of the best, with runway shows capturing true design and creative ideas.
Fashion Palette was a 2 day event that really inspired creatives who work in the field of fashion. Hosted by the amazing Ruby Rose, the event had some real good insight into how fashion works, what is involved behind the scenes and how to make it a successful business.
At Fashion Palette an array of direction key looks, layers were evident, with some amazing strong shoulder looks as well for the ladies. The boys had a sophisticated preppy boy feel with a cutting edge element.

Dynamic, daring and dreamlike - just some of the words you could use to describe Brisbane fashion designer Cyan Reign's Couture and ready to wear collections. She has been described as “...one of the best talents coming out of Brisbane right now”, and “...one of the best corset makers in Australia.”
Last night Styleography was invited to the grand store opening of this promising designer. Located in the heart of the Valley, Cyan Reign opened its doors to her favourite style followers and industry professionals. The new store which is called Thread & Bone will house some local designers like Tilley Row from designer Erin Lock and Melbourne designer Alexi Freeman along side Cyan Reign's exclusive collections. Upstairs we will see Cyan's Couture work room and made to measure suite.

Audrey Hepburn famously lived and partied in style as Holly Golightly in the film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and in following is emerging Brisbane journalist, bloger and style icon Katherine Feeney.
There was champagne, classic cocktail music and a well attired crowd to celebrate her birthday at her Woolloongabba apartment, a night to remember.

India..
We have been all around Australia with Styleography, but today's post is a very special one indeed. Our latest adventure took us to India,Mumbai. A place that memorized us for many reasons, a place that captures so much culture & chaos mixed with a social society that is very noticable....,this Amazing place will always be a reminder of how lucky we are.
Every picture taken across this 4 day journey tells a story of it's own. We did take photos of beautiful people dressed in head to toe in Gucci and what not and our orginal reason for a trip to India was due to an invitaion for an Australian Fashion show with designers like Hussy & Subfusco, but we first want to publish the essence of the street culture & style, many trends come from the streets of major cities, so we wanted to capture what everyday true Indians wear, whether it may be a Saree or a pair of Harem pants, we believe these photos capture a true sense of style, it may not be what we would wear, nor what to wear, but its what the street people of Mumbai wear..
you would see all these little barbers around the slumps
we think this man had a great look.

Our little friend from the slumps, an Indian Snop Dog!
it was very hard to actually take pictures of ladies. all
these shots were on the move in a car.
this was the only western dressed woman we saw on this day
romaning the streets.
Black & White story..

pictures by Joshua Scacheri
thank you to all the amazing people who allowed us to take photos
of you. You may never see these photos, or even understood why we were
taking photos of you, but one thing is for sure that they will be forever yours..

VIP Penthouse Mouse launch - Melborune
Penthouse Mouse is housing some of the hottest labels like Trimapee, Subfusco, Who am eye & Autonomy this month during L'oreal Fashion Festival. The amazing space located on Toorak rd has been transformed into a gorilla pop up store. Our latest photographer for styleography " Sarah Skerlak" snapped away at the unqiue crowd which ranged from the Who's Who to the street fashionista's of Melbourne.

Frisoni is one name in the Australian fashion industry that is oftenly associated with the wonders of luxury and sophisticated style. While he is most recognised for his collaborative business Frisoni Finetti, shared with fellow icon Nicola Finetti, Fernando Frisoni has recently launched his very first collection from the newly created self-titled label. We had the great privaledge of recently attending the Brisbane launch of Fernando Frisoni's Autumn/Winter 09 collection, hosted by local retail empire Natalie Denning, within her youngest boutique FALLOW. The collection, based on the sculptures and arts of Richard Goodwin, takes the Frisoni man on an Arabian journey through the historical realms discovered in such country's as Eygpt. The designer has taken a very fresh and underground approach to his new venture as he firmly believes that one "shouldn't be safe with creating" and to believe or act uncommonly in oppostion to the conformities of society.

VIP launch @ Stock Exchange Hotel.. A.K.A "The Stocky"
last night our style team was out on the prawl to snap up a new stylish crowd at the Stock Exchange. The crowd was a mixture of a young Valley scene mixed with a City crowd. We have to admit, the new venue is great inside and the open garden area is perfect for those Sunday afternoon sessions but the city scene will always be a city scene... you be the judge. However we did find some nicely dressed people amongst the white collard boys & the two piece suited ladies.

wet & sweaty with an added dose of fun is how our styleography team summed up the good vibrations festival last saturday. Highlights of the day was made up from a combination of some great sets by yelle, the presets & fatboy slim, along side men dressed in dresses, kids walking around in bare feet & some crazy whacked out personalities.

the valley streets....
just a quick couple of shots today, this weekend there is a lot happening with Good Vibes & Sound Wave on, the party scene will be hectic. I bumped into the band members from ALESANA, these guys were really thirsty so I directed them to the Empire. There style today was a casual rock feel, the tatoo's they had was also pretty impresive, some cool detaling with nice fine lines.

Cloud Land has arrived....
today we had access for a few minutes while Cloud land the mega bar/club/restaurant had it's first photo shoot with their new designer uniforms by designer label Subfusco. We must say that the venue is an amazing sight indeed, we can't say much as it is confidential but the public can definitely see it soon around late March. On the other hand, the uniforms are definitely a cool reflection of the venue. Designer Joshua Roberto Scacheri from Subfusco has really added his sophisticated style to the garments and they have a Subfusco feel about them also.

black & white skate..
These pictures were taken down at south bank last sunday. Tom and his friends mentioned that this is an unusual spot to skate as many areas of south bank and surroundings have always been a "No skate area".
We see a definite skate culture style that starts at a young age these days, an edgy grungy look with a sporty feel. Skinny leg denims with Vans, Converse or Adidas are always worn. Over sized tee's or your dad's Bond singlets are always a classic look that will never die.

Welcome to styleography, our aim for this blog is to express social scenes, street styles & trends throughout our city, Brisbane. We want to tell a story, express our views on the styles we see and introduce the personality behind the looks.
Styleography is a collaboration of local artists, designers and photographers.
This guy who was in the Subfusco store at TCB arcade, he had a real unique way of mixing colours. His style was a contrast of hippie street/chic.

Our dear friend Paulie from London is by our standard the craziest and coolest trend setter. Paulie is a dance performer who regularly travels to Brisbane to visit his beautiful daughter.
LITTLE BLACK DRESS....
As Audrey Hepburn did in the 60's, our ladies today are still looking amazing in the LBD.

Alice is a fashion design student from MSIT, originally from Brazil. Her fantastic interpretation of the LBD teamed up with cute flats and unique accessories truly reflects the modern adaptation.
