The 7th Garden Festival in Croatia concluded on Wednesday 11th July, after a full week of sun-kissed blissful holiday fun on the stunning Adriatic coastline. In its brand new home of Tisno, the festival attracted people from all over the world to this beautiful coastal region to savour a stellar lineup including Nicolas Jaar, Kenny Dope, Norman Jay, Dyed Soundorom, 2020 Soundsystem, Pillow Talk, Yesking, Tim Sweeney, Jose Padilla, and many more.
The STYLEOGRAPHY team was on a trip back from partying in Zrce when we made a nice sunset stop over at the Garden Festival. What really grabbed our attention of this intimate and laid back festival was that its location had a real diverse feel to other festivals you may go to. It had a cool 70's feel scenery mixed with amazing beach fronts and fantastic music. It had things for every social scene, if you wanted to just hang under the tree's and relax or go exploring the Gardens activity attractions, you had it all. Speaking with Ali Mirza, the Croatian Publicist for the event, he said something that most organizers of events wont do, he spoke about wanting to keep the festival at a certain number of people, not making it too big so you don't loose that personal touch, that sense of community and warm vibe. We really liked this idea and will definitely be checking out next years one which dates have already been confirmed.
The dates for The Garden Festival in 2013 have already been confirmed, with the 8th Garden Festival taking place Weds 3rd – Weds 10th July.
